What's Happening at 2019 Lacombe Days?

 You hear it time and time again, but time flies when you're having fun! The Lacombe Days committee has been working hard through the winter to bring together 2019 Lacombe Days, and we can't believe it's nearly here!

So what does all the planning mean for you? Well, things are getting switched up once again!

Locations - we are bringing our events to the heart of the City, making them all easily accessible by foot! So as you will be seeing some of the old favourites such as Sim's Insurance Inflatable Fun be sure to keep an eye on the locations!

We are excited to announce the beginning of Lacombe Pyro Crew - our own fireworks crew to be doing the Lacombe Days Fireworks! We are super grateful to be partnering with the Blackfalds Pyro Crew, with over 15 years experience, as they bring us through our first few shoots.  This year they will be held at Cranna Lake.

A couple new adult entertainment events are coming our way:

• Soapy's Car Wash Street Performer Spectacular (Thursday, July 25): we are partnering with CentreFest to bring you professional street performers from around the globe who will pass their hats for the chance to win the GOLDEN HAT, as chosen by you! A night full of unique entertainment.
• Viking Projects Beer & Wing Fest (Friday, July 26): Whose wing reigns supreme? Whose cask stands the task? You choose! Take part in this delectable competition featuring local restaurants and breweries with Tandem Yam rocking the night away.

And a few of our all-time favourites are returning:

• iRecover Parade (Saturday, July 27): has always been the highlight of Lacombe Days; full of unique and entertaining floats!
• Wolf Creek Building Supplies Drive-in Movie (Friday, July 26): returning once again to the school grounds! Come early as the turn out was huge! Movie announcement coming soon! 
• And, as mentioned, Fireworks are back on Saturday, July 27th!
